The plot is located at the entrance to the historic village of Hermance, known as one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. On a gentle slope, the land faces the lake and is superbly positioned. Each building is ensured a clear view towards the lake and/or Jura.
Hermance is only 10Km from the gates of Geneva. It is a forward looking community providing a perfect setting for young families, yet proud of its rich history with its roots firmly anchored in its lakeshore position.
The community makes every effort to provide a pleasant living environment for its families by providing a rich variety of activities. Including:
- A football club
- A rugby club
- A sailing school
- A tennis club
- Pottery classes
- The brass band and its music lessons
- A private beach and all its water sports
Children go to the primary school in an historic building right in the middle of the village. From secondary school, a bus takes them to the Bois Caran Cycle d’orientation and to other schools on the left bank.
For the little ones the “L’île aux mômes” day care centre operated jointly by the communes of Collonge-Bellerive, Anières, Corsier and Hermance provides them with an ideal environment. “L’île aux mômes” which is in Vésenaz accepts children as from the end of maternity leave to the first year of school from Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm.
There is a regular TPG Geneva transport bus service (in particular Bus E that gets you to Rive in 33 minutes and runs up to five times per hour). The CGN boats also serve Hermance either as a point of arrival or departure for anyone appreciating an outing on the lake or a more gastronomic experience. Nature lovers will appreciate walks in the vineyards and along the Hermance river further inland.
